Data Management Solutions is pleased to announce this week’s enhancements and fixes to our Data Validation Platform. Each enhancement/fix is separated by Applicable Users (subscribers who are directly affected by the enhancement or the fix) for easier viewing.

Discrepancy Type Dropdown

We have enhanced the verification process by adding a Discrepancy Type dropdown, which helps in categorizing discrepancies more clearly. This new field, along with the Notes section, gives auditors and verifiers a more structured way to indicate the nature of discrepancies. The dropdown is available on the Verify Discrepancy and Verify Missing steps and is also included in the export files at the Complete step.

Applicable users: Organization Admins

Organization and Company Notes

We have added a Notes field on the Organization and Company Information screens, allowing subscribers to add extra information related to each organization and company. This should improve documentation and provide more context for users when interacting with this data.

Applicable users: Organization Admins and Comparers / Company Admins

    Additional Carrier Information Fields

    We have enhanced the Carrier Tracking section by adding the following fields:

      1. Audit Contact Name
      2. Audit Contact Email
      3. Audit Contact Phone
      4. Carrier Invoice Day of the Month
      5. Checkbox to indicate whether the carrier is included as part of the audit service

    These additions will improve how detailed and organized carrier information is maintained, ensuring that all necessary contact and invoicing details are readily accessible.  Please note that Carrier Tracking is only available on the Platinum Elite and Subscription Based Audits plans.

    Performance Optimization for Missing Discrepancy Records

    We resolved a performance issue related to inserting large volumes of missing discrepancy records. By optimizing the process to handle bulk inserts, we have reduced the time it takes and prevented the system from timing out. This should greatly enhance the system’s efficiency when processing large number of records.

    Upcoming enhancements to the Platform:

    1. Additional Discrepancy Report: A discrepancy report that includes all other data points from the file for only those records that have discrepancies.
    2. Upload User:  Ability to create a user that can upload files directly to the platform for comparison.
    3. Upload Library:  Ability to upload files directly to the platform to be used for audit purposes.
    4. Discrepancy Type Dropdown: Ability to select a pre-defined discrepancy type such as Timing, Cost, File Error, Data Entry during the Verification Steps.
    5. Customizable Email Templates: Ability for the user to create, save, re-use and assign customized email templates.
    6. Email Tracking: Ability to track when verification and completion emails have been sent.
